VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
Position Summary
The Vice President of Casino Operations is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all aspects of the casino gaming division including HHR games, Poker, Table Games, and Sports Wagering. Directs operating departments to achieve successful implementation of business objectives and plans for each business location. Provides support in the conceptual, strategic, and policy formulation functions for the gaming division.
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating and fostering an environment of support and motivation for Team Members.
Participates in the establishment of gaming standards, guidelines and objectives, and maintains other administrative processes such as budget and staffing to ensure proper planning and efficient operation of assigned areas.
Adheres to Company policies and procedures, as well as, establishes management and operating plans consistent with overall operating goals for the gaming division, to ensure achievement of Company objectives.
Provides strategic information to P2E concerning business operations, and growth and development opportunities.
Responsible for the development of organization, personnel, product/service, and market resources within span of control to facilitate future growth.
Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established Company policy, and in compliance with regulations.
Promotes Responsible Gaming and Title 31 compliance.
Maintains constant awareness of the latest gaming regulations. Works closely with regulatory authorities, and internal control staff members, to ensure regulatory and operational practice compliance.
Maintains comprehensive industry familiarity with gaming practices. Works closely with other property key personnel in exchanging information on gaming activities, and develops proper security measures to ensure the integrity of the operation.
Reviews casino activities and property events and promotions with all levels of the operation to ensure guest service and compliance.
Reviews strengths and weaknesses of the operation such as win per unit, hold percentage, and other standard gaming statistics, in order to achieve the most efficient and beneficial allocation of resources.
Ensures compliance with all policies, procedures, federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as applicable.
Take on and manage various projects as assigned in order to aid in achievement of evolving company goals and objectives.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (BA) and 7-10 years of progressively responsible gaming management experience. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Effective communication skills with the ability to delegate responsibility manage and motivate a diverse group of executives to achieve common goals.
Thorough knowledge of general business practices and strategic planning. Broad knowledge of all facets of gaming.
Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses, certifications, and indemnifications requisite to the successful completion of all essential responsibilities.
Must meet or exceed all regulatory conditions stipulated for individuals holding this or similar positions.
