TRAINER (HR)

Position Summary

The Trainer will conduct informative training sessions, promote company efficiency, and improve the skills of all personnel. The ideal candidate is a great communicator with the ability to effectively describe various ideas to different audiences. You must be highly organized, proficient in time management, and possess excellent public speaking skills.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Provides next-level guest service to internal and external guests.

2. Responsible for creating and fostering an environment of support and motivation for team members.

3. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established procedures

with company policy and state regulations.

4. Be the primary deliverer of training programs.

5. Chief-Ambassador of the orientation program and educates team members on policies and procedures.

6. Conducts training and development programs as related to operational needs.

7. Conducts new hire orientations in the absence of the property Human Resource Manager.

8. Assists with monitoring of mandatory trainings, expiration and renewals.

9. Assists with maintaining the company intranet, related to Human Resources, to ensure accuracy and provide up to date information for each department as needed.

10. Ensures compliance with Federal and State employment laws, gaming regulations and compliance requirements.

11. Resolves problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommends courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position’s supervisor.

12. Keeps position supervisor informed of relevant activities.

13. Take on and manage various duties as assigned in order to aid in achievement of evolving company goals and objectives.
Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities: In addition to the other duties described herein, each team member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations.

  • Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.

  • Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.

  • Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the

  • team member’s department.

  • Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gaming.

  • Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the team member may have knowledge.

Position Qualifications:

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.

  • Must be able to formulate and communicate ideas and to make independent decisions.

  • An intermediate or better understanding or better in Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on a high-level aptitude specifically in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Forms.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses, certifications, and indemnifications requisite to the successful completion of all essential responsibilities.

  • Must meet or exceed all regulatory conditions stipulated for individuals holding this or similar positions
