SURVEILLANCE TECHNICIAN
Position Summary
Responsible for the testing, alignment, repair, and proper operation of all surveillance equipment on property, including closed circuit televisions and electronic security devices in accordance with New Hampshire Lottery Commission regulations and the Company’s internal controls and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities:
Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established Company Policies and Procedures and State Regulations.
Ensures the smooth operation of the department by following policies and procedures and complying with Internal Control Policies and Procedures.
Installs and maintains all closed-circuit television cameras, recording devices, expansion equipment, and related wiring on property. Ensures all surveillance equipment is functioning properly.
Repairs damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
Maintains a working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the New Hampshire Lottery Commission and ensures strict adherence as it relates to surveillance equipment capabilities and required coverage.
Implements preventative maintenance programs designed to eliminate system failures.
Maintains and programs computer-controlled matrix switch supporting the monitors and cameras.
Inspects power supply and wiring to all surveillance equipment, identifying and correcting any potential problems.
Ensures that the appropriate inventory of equipment and supplies is always kept on hand; orders and re-stocks as needed.
Consults with management and vendors on specific types of equipment needed for certain surveillance operations.
Facilitates the flow of information throughout the department by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
Works on actual projects or service to help achieve the objectives of the department.
Ensures compliance with all policies, procedures, federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as applicable.
Take on and manage various tasks as assigned in order to aid in achievement of evolving company goals and objectives.
Position Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, plus three years of surveillance technician experience. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Must be able to read, analyze, interpret and comprehend technical procedures, government regulations, instructions, and correspondence/memos; write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers or staff, guests and the general public.

Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses, certifications, and indemnifications requisite to the successful completion of all essential responsibilities.
Must meet or exceed all regulatory conditions stipulated for individuals holding this or similar positions.
