IT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

Position Summary

Responsible for design, implementation and documentation for IT Systems and network infrastructure, processes, policies and administration.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established Company Policy, State and Federal regulations. 

  2. Provides next-level guest service to internal and external guests. 

  3. Responsible for creating and fostering an environment of support and motivation for team members.

  4. Maintains security and always protects Company assets by adhering to Company policies and all state and regulatory compliance including Internal Controls Policies and Procedures and performs all job duties in a safe, professional and responsible manner.

  5. Evaluates processes; prepares, presents and assists with feasible action plans and other continuous improvement initiatives to meet standards and requirements.

  6. Configures, tests and maintains:

    1. LAN/WAN Circuits and equipment

    2. Wireless Access Points

    3. Active Directory services

    4. Business applications

    5. Network Security

    6. Monitoring services

    7. Maintains system integrity

    8. Monitors and troubleshoots system issues

  7. Coordinates and set up the Network infrastructure required for all locations.

  8. Recommends Network equipment, Telecom Circuits, and Bandwidth offices.

  9. Identifies, diagnoses, monitors and resolves system and network infrastructure problems.

  10. Performs system checks, completes emergency system down process, and escalates issues.

  11. Implements and tests various network disaster recovery and failover scenarios.

  12. Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation for all implemented systems.

  13. Provides technical support.  Assists in evaluation of proposed technical solutions.

  14. Ensures projects are completed within time and budget requirements utilizing standard project management tools and techniques.

  15. Maintains a clean and safe environment.

  16. Effectively handles team member concerns and requests.

  17. Resolves problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommends courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position’s supervisor.  Keeps position supervisor informed of relevant activities.

  18. Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.

  19. Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team member’s department.

  20. Take on and manage various projects as assigned in order to aid in achievement of evolving Company goals and objectives.

  21. Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.

  22. Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department.

  23. Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gaming.

  24. Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge.

  25. Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

  • Required competencies include initiative, time management, decision-making, communication proficiency and organizational skills.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, or equivalent applications and menu-driven programs is required. Knowledgeable in creating spreadsheets or similar data reporting. 

  • Ability to work in an environment at times exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels and varied light levels including flashing lights.

  • Must be able to formulate and communicate ideas and to make independent decisions.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses, certifications, and indemnifications requisite to the successful completion of all essential responsibilities.

  • Must meet or exceed all regulatory conditions stipulated for individuals holding this or similar positions.
