GAMING SUPERVISOR
Position Summary:
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of all departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating and fostering an environment of support and motivation for Team Members.
Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established procedures with company policy and state regulations.
Positively affects interactions with guests and employees and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
Communicates with other department managers for situations that may arise and provides excellent customer service to guests and any needs they may have.
Schedules training classes, issues memos, maintains payroll records for all department employees, provides pertinent information to all managers to pass to the teams.
Completes all reports and projects delegated by the Gaming Operations Manager for projects.
Is available to all department employees for any situation that may arise.
Ensures that all jackpot transactions are completed accurately, and that jackpot slips and payment procedures are compliant with departmental internal controls and are completed within a reasonable amount of time.
Ensures that all department paperwork is completed correctly and that all forms have the required signatures. Documents may include; but are not limited to, jackpot slips, appropriate tax documents, and guest claim forms.
Ensures that all HHR machines are functioning properly and are available for play of guests.
Issues written and oral instructions; assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to HHR operation policies and procedures.
Position Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required plus a minimum of two years supervisory experience is required in a high volume, complex environment. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work with word processing and spreadsheet software required. Must be able to formulate and communicate ideas and to make independent decisions
