DIRECTOR OF CAGE OPERATIONS
Position Summary
Responsible for directing all aspects of a regional cage operation in accordance with Company Internal Control Policies and Procedures, state regulations, Bank Securities Act, Title 31 Rules and Regulations, and the Company’s Responsible Gaming Plan.
Essential Responsibilities:
Hires, motivates, trains, coaches, mentors, and directs staff to ensure that Team Members receive leadership, guidance and resources to accomplish established objectives.
Establishes department standards, guidelines and objectives, and maintains other administrative processes such as budget and staffing to ensure proper planning and efficient operation of assigned areas.
Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established procedures with Company policy and state regulations.
Produces, monitors and evaluates all reporting departments in order to ensure the proper planning for short and long-term strategies; monitors and evaluates performance of all operations in order to facilitate ongoing improvement of operations and financial return.
Assists in the annual budget and other reports as requested.
Reviews strengths and weaknesses of all cage operations, including general policies and procedures, to effectively implement changes to improve operations, security of funds, and most efficiently allocate resources.
Manages regulatory and Internal Control Procedure audits, researches and documents any findings, follows up on corrective action and recommends policy and/or procedural changes to mitigate future deficiencies.
Provides set training programs for staff and ensures staff is up-to-date on training programs and changing standard operating procedures.
Reviews the work activities of subordinate employees to ensure that work is being performed within the standards established by management.
Monitors the day-to-day activities of the department(s) as subject to established company policies.
Take on and manage various projects as assigned in order to aid in achievement of evolving company goals and objectives.
Must be able to travel to all Company properties.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business management or accounting strongly preferred, and three years of experience in cage operations including two years in management or supervisory role. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Working knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.
Must be able to formulate and communicate ideas and to make independent decisions.
Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses, certifications, and indemnifications requisite to the successful completion of all essential responsibilities.
Must meet or exceed all regulatory conditions stipulated for individuals holding this or similar positions.
