Position Summary
Responsible for monitoring performance of electronic gaming devices, activity, and conditions of gaming areas, ensuring all HHR machines are operable and in good repair.
Essential Responsibilities:
Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established Company Policy, State and Federal regulations.
Provides next-level guest service to internal and external guests.
Responsible for creating and fostering an environment of support and motivation for team members.
Maintains security and always protects Company assets by adhering to Company policies and all state and regulatory compliance including Internal Controls Policies and Procedures, The Responsible Gaming Plan and Title 31, and performs all job duties in a safe, professional and responsible manner..
Maintains the electronic components, systems, and peripherals of gaming machines.
Repairs and modifies components, electric systems and peripherals of the gaming machines and kiosks.
Configures HHR machines to meet the manufacturers’ and regulatory agency specifications.
Removes, moves, installs and/or upgrades HHR machines.
Maintain an accurate parts inventory across all properties
Service and repair damaged HHR game parts
Respond to parts requests sent from all properties, Request quotes and order parts from vendors.
Process RMA’s (Return Merchandise Authorization)
Monitors and tracks the HHR machine malfunctions, the cause, the repair, and the parts involved.
Tracks and records all test money usage and testing results. Informs Tech Manager of results, also any suspicious activity or irregularities.
Notifies shift supervisor of irregularities in customers’ play.
Maintains a clean and safe environment.
Effectively handles customer and team members concerns and requests.
Acts in the capacity of other positions on an as needed basis and as gaming license allows.
Resolves problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommends courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position’s supervisor. Keeps position supervisor informed of relevant activities.
Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.
Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team member’s department.
Take on and manage various projects as assigned in order to aid in achievement of evolving Company goals and objectives.
Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gaming.
Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required; Associates degree in electronics or related field preferred. Minimum two (2) years’ experience as an HHR Technician / Bench Technician with A+ Certification preferred. Combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Required competencies include initiative, time management, decision-making, communication proficiency and organizational skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, or equivalent applications and menu-driven programs is required. Knowledgeable in creating spreadsheets or similar data reporting.
Ability to work in an environment exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels and varied light levels including flashing lights.
Must be able to formulate and communicate ideas and to make independent decisions.
Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses, certifications, and indemnifications requisite to the successful completion of all essential responsibilities.
Must meet or exceed all regulatory conditions stipulated for individuals holding this or similar positions.
